Barbara Norton-Gill

Barbara Norton-Gill, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Sr. Director of Global Compensation and Benefits at Mercy Corps, a role undertaken since January 2025, where responsibilities include leading the development of a global compensation strategy aligned with the organization’s mission. Additionally, Barbara holds the position of Managing Director at Carroll Strategies Group and previously directed compensation and benefits for Relief International, overseeing a global team in challenging environments. With extensive experience in human resources, Barbara has held key roles at organizations such as Panagora Group, Jhpiego, and RONCO Consulting Corporation, where strategic leadership in talent acquisition and human resources management has been pivotal. Barbara’s educational background includes a BS in Personnel Management from Towson University, with ongoing MBA studies in Human Resources Administration at Frostburg State University.
