Joanne Glover Raad

Joanne Glover Raad has extensive experience in compliance, governance, and risk management, currently holding the position of Senior Director of Compliance, Governance & Risk at Mercy Corps since October 2011. Throughout the tenure at Mercy Corps, Joanne has advanced through various roles, including Director of Compliance, Governance and Risk, Interim Director, and Programs Manager. Prior to Mercy Corps, Joanne practiced as a Solicitor in Finance & Projects at DLA Piper from August 2005 to May 2011. Joanne's educational background includes a Master's degree in Africa and International Development from The University of Edinburgh, a Diploma of Law from the Glasgow Graduate School of Law, and a Bachelor of Laws with French Language from the University of Glasgow, complemented by an Erasmus year at the University of Aix-Marseille III.
