Katy Crosby serves as the Senior Director of US Policy and Advocacy at Mercy Corps since July 2022. Previously, Katy held the position of Senior Professional Staff for the House Committee on Foreign Affairs from February 2019 to July 2022, advising on foreign assistance and global health. Katy was a Congressional Liaison Officer at USAID from February 2016 to January 2019, facilitating relationships between the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and USAID. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Analyst for International Affairs and Trade at GAO and working as a Detailee for the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. Katy's background also includes roles at Special Olympics, Bread for the World, The Brookings Institution, and the U.S. House of Representatives. Educationally, Katy holds a Masters in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a BA in Political Science with a focus on International Relations from Wheaton College.
