Michael Ochola

Michael Ochola is an accomplished operations manager with extensive experience in humanitarian logistics and program management. Currently serving as Operations Manager at Mercy Corps since September 2023, Michael oversees country operations including procurement, transport, and fleet management in Sudan. Prior roles include Logistics Coordinator and Base Manager at Concern Worldwide, where Michael managed operational teams across various projects. Previous experience also includes Field Coordinator at Action Against Hunger, where leadership was provided for programs in nutrition and livelihoods in Northern Uganda. Michael's career began as Branch Coordinator at Caritas, leading multiple projects and managing security in the Pader and Agago districts. Michael holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management from Uganda Management Institute and a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Makerere University Kampala.
