Rachel Short

Rachel Short currently serves as a Senior Advisor to the Chief of Staff at Mercy Corps, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this role, Rachel had a diverse career within Mercy Corps from January 2017 to January 2023, progressing through various positions including MicroMentor Strategy, Operations, and Culture Manager, Innovation Systems Manager, and Assistant Program Officer focusing on Afghanistan and Pakistan. Rachel began her professional journey as a Business Development Intern and Assistant. Earlier experience includes serving as an Area Administrator for Young Life from March 2014 to December 2016. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a focus in Global Health from the University of Iowa.
