Rediet Eyayu

Rediet Eyayu is an experienced professional specializing in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), currently serving as a MEL and Database Officer at Mercy Corps since October 2019, contributing to proposal writing and MEL plan development for emergency programs. Previously, Rediet held the roles of MEL Specialist and Asset Management Officer at CARE from January 2016 to September 2019, where responsibilities included stakeholder liaison and local government engagement. An internship with CARE focused on Accountability and Governance involved field visits to WASH projects in the Afar and Borena regions. Earlier, an internship at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) involved conducting questionnaire-based interviews. Rediet holds a Master of Arts in Development Economics from Unity University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Addis Ababa University.
