Amanda Rainey, CFRE, currently serves as the Chief Philanthropy Officer at Mercy For Animals, a position held since September 2024. Prior to this, Amanda was the Interim Chief Philanthropy Officer at Greater Good Charities, overseeing fundraising efforts that generated over $25 million in annual revenue. With significant experience in development roles, Amanda has held key positions such as Vice President of Development & Community Impact at SPCA of Texas and Chief Advancement Officer at Big Thought, managing multi-million dollar fundraising campaigns and fostering strategic partnerships with major brands. Educational qualifications include an MS in Higher Education, Student Affairs from Indiana University and a BS in Secondary Education from Southeast Missouri State University. Amanda has also pursued advanced studies in Higher Education at Saint Louis University.
