Khaldoon Al-Moosawi has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Khaldoon started as a Physician at UNC Health Care from July 2015 to June 2016. Khaldoon then worked as a Sleep Medicine Physician at FusionSleep from August 2016 to May 2017. From November 2017 to February 2018, they served as an Emergency Physician at Southern Regional Medical Center. In 2014, they joined HospitalMD as an ER/Hospitalist Physician, working there until February 2019. Khaldoon then became the Founder and Chairman of Mercy Hands for Humanitarian Aid in August 2004. In 2019, they founded and became the Chairman of Mercy Hands Europe. Khaldoon Al-Moosawi has a diverse educational background. Khaldoon completed their High School Diploma at Baghdad College High School in 1994, specializing in Biology/Biological Sciences. Khaldoon then pursued a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) at Al-Nahrain University from 1994 to 2000. Simultaneously, they earned their MBChB degree in Medicine and Surgery from Al-Nahrain College of Medicine during the same period. Later, in 2008, Khaldoon obtained an International Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance from Fordham University. In 2007, they earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Khaldoon'seducation continued with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in Family Medicine Residency Program from Atlanta Medical Center, completed between 2011 and 2014. Most recently, in 2015 and 2016, they pursued a Fellowship in the Sleep Medicine Residency Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
