Bobby Nieland

Bobby Nieland is a skilled hospitalist currently working at Northern Light Mercy Hospital since January 2023. Prior to this role, Bobby served as a family medicine physician at Orchard Hospital from August 2021 to March 2023 and completed a residency at Ventura County Medical Center from June 2018 to July 2021. Bobby's early career includes experience as an administrative assistant at PremierNeuro from September 2011 to July 2014 and as a certified nursing assistant at UNC Hospitals from May 2012 to June 2014. Additionally, Bobby participated as a standardized patient at UNC School of Medicine between February 2013 and May 2014. Bobby obtained a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine, completing studies from 2014 to 2018, and holds a Public Health Certificate from UNC Gillings School of Public Health, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned in 2011.
