Philip W. Beatson

Philip W. Beatson is the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Operations at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Philip has held this position since April 2021.

Previously, they served as the Chief Operating Officer of Shady Grove Fertility from January 2015 to April 2021. Shady Grove Fertility is the largest provider of fertility treatment in the United States with 38 locations and 8 surgery centers throughout Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, New York, Georgia and Florida. In 2017, SGF opened its first international practice with a world class surgery center and medical team in Santiago, Chile.

Before their time at Shady Grove Fertility, Mr. Beatson served as the Vice President of Clinical Program Operations at Mercy Health Services from March 2005 to January 2015.

Mr. Beatson has dedicated their career to helping others and improving healthcare operations. Philip is a highly respected leader in the medical community and their work has helped countless people build families.

Philip W. Beatson received their Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University. Philip then went on to receive their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Executive MBA from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business. Philip also attended Gilman School.
