Shawn Steffen

Shawn Steffen, MHA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle at Mercy Medical Center, a position held since August 2006, overseeing critical operational areas such as patient accounts, health information management, and revenue integrity. Steffen has extensive experience in healthcare management, previously holding roles such as Hospital Revenue Cycle Director at Covenant Health Care System and Director of Patient Accounts at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Additionally, involvement in education as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Mount Mercy University from January 2017 to May 2022 highlights Steffen's commitment to mentoring future professionals. As a Head Soccer Coach for Benton Community High School from March 2009 to June 2016, accolades include being named Wamac West Conference Coach of the Year in 2012.
