Diane Rickard

Diane Rickard has extensive experience in media relations and communications, currently serving as the International Media Relations Manager for Mercy Ships since 2000. In this role, Diane has effectively utilized press releases, magazine articles, and social media to share stories about Mercy Ships, collaborating with prominent media outlets including the BBC, CBS 60 Minutes, and national networks from various countries. Prior to this, Diane worked as a Personal Assistant to the Vice President of Communications and served as Communications Manager for Mercy Ships Good Samaritan from 1986 to 1989. Diane holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Theology, Art, and English from Concordia University, Nebraska, and graduated from Spirit Lake High School.
