Tara Tobin

Tara Tobin currently serves as the Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Development at Mercy Ships, a position held since November 2022. Prior experience includes roles at CAFOD, where responsibilities encompassed Evidencing and Learning Advisor and Head of Governance and Programme Advocacy (maternity cover), among others. At Beyond Food Foundation, Tara worked as a Programme Coordinator, and previously, as a Research Officer at Best Practices Foundation, where involvement in the UNDP project “Seeing Beyond the State” led to conducting extensive research with grassroots women's organizations across multiple countries. Tara holds an MSc in Social Policy & Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a degree in Development Studies, Economics, and Latin American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
