Maeve Dennehy is a highly experienced pharmacist with a career spanning over a decade, currently serving as the Acting Chief 2 Pharmacist in Haematology and Senior Clinical Pharmacist at Mercy University Hospital since February 2019. Prior to this role, Maeve held various clinical pharmacist positions, including the Health Service Executive and University Hospital Waterford. Mercy University Hospital (MUH) was established by the Mercy Order in 1857 as a 40-bed hospital staffed by four Sisters. Today, the hospital has 300+ beds, employs approximately 1,000 staff and has an annual budget of approximately €90m. MUH offers a wide range of specialities which provide inpatient, day patient and outpatient services along with a 24/7 emergency department and an urgent care centre which is located on St. Mary’s Health Campus.
