Mercy University Hospital (MUH) was established by the Mercy Order in 1857 as a 40-bed hospital staffed by four Sisters. Today, the hospital has 300+ beds, employs approximately 1,000 staff and has an annual budget of approximately €90m. MUH offers a wide range of specialities which provide inpatient, day patient and outpatient services along with a 24/7 emergency department and an urgent care centre which is located on St. Mary’s Health Campus.
