Allison Powell

Allison Powell is an OBGYN physician with a keen interest in medical education and biomedical device research. They completed their Doctor of Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School and previously earned a Master of Science in Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, both from the University of Michigan. Their experience includes working as a medical technician with Engineering World Health, where they applied engineering skills to improve medical equipment in rural hospitals in Tanzania, as well as serving as a pre-doctoral research fellow, designing biomedical simulators. Currently, they work as a physician at Mercy, after completing their residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
