Dr. Michael Smock is the Burn Center Director at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, where they have directed the regional burn program since 2000. A Fellow of the American Burn Association and certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Smock specializes in acute burn care, burn reconstruction, and laser surgery for burn scars. They serve as an Associate Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at St. Louis University School of Medicine, where they mentor residents and medical students. Additionally, Dr. Smock is involved in providing Advanced Burn Life Support courses at both regional and national levels.
