Tyler Sturgeon

Tyler Sturgeon possesses extensive experience in healthcare finance, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer for Mercy South since September 2020, overseeing a 767-bed facility with a net revenue of $920 million. Prior roles include Chief Financial Officer for Mercy Southwest Missouri/Kansas, managing four hospitals with a combined 328 beds and $455 million in net revenue, and Chief Financial Officer at Ochsner Medical Center West Bank, a 181-bed facility with $235 million in net revenue. Sturgeon has also held positions as Chief Financial Officer at Friends Hospital and Controller at Tulane Medical Center, gaining valuable expertise in financial management across various hospital sizes and structures. Sturgeon holds a Master of Business Administration from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
