Amelia Yam-Matacz

Amelia Yam-Matacz has a diverse range of work experience in finance and consulting roles. Amelia currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at MercyCare, where they have been since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Director at KAAM Business Consulting.

In 2020, Amelia held two roles. Amelia was the Finance Director - Health at Serco ASPAC from August 2020 to December 2022. Before that, they worked as a Director at Deloitte Middle East from January 2020 to July 2020.

Lastly, Amelia worked as the Chief Financial Officer at the University of Notre Dame Australia in 2013. Their responsibilities included overseeing financial management, reporting, budgeting, business planning, financial risks/treasury, procurement, shared services, and facilities planning.

Amelia Yam-Matacz has a diverse education history. Amelia began their education journey in 1982 at Taylors College, where they pursued a degree in South Australian Matriculation. Following this, from 1983 to 1987, they attended Murdoch University, earning a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Economics and Commerce. In 1989, they continued their education at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting. Finally, in 2011, Amelia attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors, where they completed a Diploma in Company Directorships.
