Kirsty Mcgeachy has a range of work experience in the community services sector. Kirsty started their career at Mission Australia as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor from February 2010 to April 2011. Kirsty then became a Site Manager at Mission Australia from March 2011 until October 2014.

In 2014, Kirsty joined ACSO Australia as a Coordinator, where they managed a team of 40 staff specializing in offender assessing services. Their role involved coordinating and managing staff and the operational provision of Community Offender Advice Treatment Service and RAPIDS team. Kirsty also participated in alcohol and ice pilots in partnership with Victorian Police and corrective services. Kirsty was promoted to Acting Regional Manager at ACSO Australia from December 2015 to February 2016.
