Kirsty Mcgeachy has a range of work experience in the community services sector. Kirsty started their career at Mission Australia as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor from February 2010 to April 2011. Kirsty then became a Site Manager at Mission Australia from March 2011 until October 2014.
In 2014, Kirsty joined ACSO Australia as a Coordinator, where they managed a team of 40 staff specializing in offender assessing services. Their role involved coordinating and managing staff and the operational provision of Community Offender Advice Treatment Service and RAPIDS team. Kirsty Mcgeachy earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Edith Cowan University, completing their studies between 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, in 2017, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Developmental Trauma from the Australian Childhood Foundation. Kirsty also attended Edith Cowan University from 2007 to 2010, where they pursued studies in Social Sciences. Furthermore, in 2004, they completed a Certificate IV in Community Services from West Coast College of Tafe.
