Doug Jones

With over 30 years of mining industry experience, Doug Jones has held various leading mining operations and consulting roles in the United States, Asia (including Indonesia), South America, Mexico and Europe including extensive experience in copper and gold mining operations including mining surface, underground mining, mill operations and leach operations.

Most recently, he worked at Alio Gold and was responsible for project completion and initiating to bring the Florida Canyon mine into full production before completing the integration of US Rye Patch Gold and Alio Gold Mexico assets following the merger. Previously he served as Senior Vice President at Eldorado Gold Corporation, a mid-sized gold mining company producing 700,000 ounces per year from 7 mines with 5 development projects in Turkey, China, Greece, Brazil and Romania, VP and GM Operations at Kettle River Kinross Gold Corporation USA and various roles for Stillwater Mining Company, Newmont Mining Corporation, Freeport Indonesia and MolyCorp Unocal Molybdenum.

He graduated from the Colorado School of Mines in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering and earned a graduate course from Stanford University in Corporate Finance for Executives in 2008.
