Glenn Mitzel

Glenn Mitzel is an experienced Controls Engineer currently working at 1905 Automation and Mereen-Johnson LLC, where expertise in automation and software solutions for the wood industry is applied. In addition to engineering roles, Glenn serves as the Director and Board Chair of Cass County Electric Cooperative, having held various leadership positions since 2018. As a lecturer in Control Systems at North Dakota State University since 1999, Glenn has contributed to the education of future engineers. Previous roles include Senior Engineer and Program Manager at Belcan, and engineering positions at MiTek Industries, JDP Automation Inc., Microsoft, Phoenix International, and Hutchinson Technology. Glenn holds a Master of Science in Engineering Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Engineering Physics from the University of North Dakota.
