Meredith Tibbs, CCA

Meredith Tibbs, CCA, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Meredith began their career at Columbia Southern University as a Student Services Representative in 2002 and then worked at AmSouth Bank as a Commercial Collateral Control from 2004 to 2004. In 2005, they joined SouthernCare Hospice as an Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk, and later transitioned to the healthcare field by becoming a Medical Coder at Premier Medical PC from 2012 to 2012. During this time, they also worked as a Graduate at Wallace State Community College from 2010 to 2011 and as an ED Coding (Student Preceptorship) at Regional Medical Center in 2011. In 2012, they joined MEREM Healthcare Solutions as the Director of Coding Operations, a position they still hold. In 2017, they briefly worked as a Medical Assistant at Lemak Sports Medicine from January to June. Overall, Meredith Tibbs has a strong background in coding and healthcare operations and has gained experience in various roles throughout their career.

In 2010 to 2011, they attended Wallace State Community College and obtained a degree in HIM (Health Information Management) with a field of study in Medical Coding. Additionally, Meredith Tibbs obtained the Certified Coding Associate (CCA) certification from AHIMA in January 2012.
