Charles S.

Charles S. has extensive work experience in the legal and biopharmaceutical industries. Charles co-founded and served as the General Counsel and Senior Executive at Mereo BioPharma starting from July 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Partner at Phase4 Partners from January 2011 to July 2015. Before joining Phase4 Partners, Charles held various roles at Nomura, including Partner of Nomura Phase4 Ventures from January 2004 to December 2010 and Associate Director from April 1998 to April 2004. Charles began their career as a Solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in March 1992 and worked there until February 1998.

Charles S. attended the University of Hull from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained their LLB degree in Law. Later, they pursued further education at The University of Law from 1990 to 1991, earning a Law Society Finals qualification.
