Dr. Marc Kneissler

Dr. Marc Kneissler currently serves as the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer at Merete GmbH since March 2019 and also as President of Merete Technologies, Inc. since January 2020. Prior to these roles, Dr. Kneissler took a career sabbatical focused on family businesses from August 2018 to March 2019 and held various positions at Zimmer Biomet from August 2015 to July 2018, including General Manager. Dr. Kneissler's experience at Biomet includes roles as Plant Leader and Lean Manufacturing Consultant, along with a tenure at Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology IPK as Department Manager for Medical Technology. Academically, Dr. Kneissler earned a Diplom-Ingenieurin in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Medical Technology from Technische Universität Berlin and is pursuing further education at the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business.
