Alexia Cohade

Alexia Cohade is the Head of Finance & Operations at Merge. Prior to this, they were the Senior Manager, Strategic Finance & Business Operations at Expanse, A Palo Alto Networks Company from August 2018 to March 2021. Before that, they worked as a Generalist M&A and Restructuring Analyst & Associate at Greenhill & Co. from June 2014 to July 2018.

Cohade started their career in investment banking as a Summer Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities in the Financial Sponsors Group from June 2013 to August 2013. There, they were responsible for identifying potential LBO candidates and preparing valuation and financial analysis, including pro-forma capitalization, projected financials and illustrative IRRs. Alexia also completed materials for internal credit memorandums (including target operational overview and credit risks and risk mitigation) for the financing of several LBOs and dividend recapitalizations.

Prior to their investment banking career, Cohade interned at ChinaVest in 2012 and American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai in 2010. Alexia also worked as a Marketing Intern at Weber Shandwick in 2009 and a PR Intern at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide in 2008.

Alexia Cohade has a degree in finance and international studies from the Wharton School. Alexia also has a Chinese degree from Tsinghua University. Alexia has an International Baccalaureate Diploma in math, chemistry, English, Mandarin, biology, and business studies from the Yew Chung International School Shanghai.

They are on a team with Simeon Lee - Founding Designer, Fedrick Finjap - Product Manager, and Nick Kephart - VP, Marketing. Their manager is Gil Feig, Co-Founder.
