Meridell Achievement Center
Kayla Bogs is a seasoned clinical therapist currently employed at WaveSpace Counseling since August 2019 and has also been a program therapist at Meridell Achievement Center since September 2016. At Meridell Achievement Center, Kayla served as the primary therapist for neurobehavioral boys ages 11-13 from 2016 to 2019 and held responsibilities that included individual, family, and group therapy, as well as adventure therapy. Previous experience includes roles as a program group therapist at Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center, a personal care assistant at Rock Springs Hospital, and various positions in educational and supportive settings such as tutoring and teaching. Kayla holds a Master of Social Work from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Psychology from Southwestern University.

Meridell Achievement Center is a residential treatment facility located in Liberty Hill, Texas, providing specialized care for children and adolescents since 1961. Having served youth with a wide-range of behavioral and emotional difficulties for over 60 years in the greater Austin area, we offer gender affirming traditional behavioral and neurobehavioral programs for youths aged 11 to 17. In 1961, Liberty Hill was a rural community on the outskirts of Austin. Today, highways make Liberty Hill a northwest suburb of Austin with an easy commute to the city center and international airport.
