Craig Widmer

Craig Widmer has extensive experience in operations control and support within the biotechnology sector, currently serving as the Director of Operations Control and Support at Meridian Bioscience Inc. since March 2005. Previous roles include Associate Director and Investigations Manager, where responsibilities encompassed root cause analysis of product failures, process improvement, and validation of new products transitioning from research and development to production. Widmer also served as Transfer Project Leader, overseeing project management for new product validation and production scheduling, as well as Lead Investigation Scientist, focusing on root cause analyses and process enhancements in a regulated environment. Earlier experience includes working as an Advanced Manufacturing Specialist at Abbott, specializing in purification methods for diagnostic kit production. Widmer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Bowling Green State University.
