Emily C. Montgomery

Emily C. Montgomery is currently a Research Associate in Technical Operations at Meridian Bioscience Inc., providing support for the development and improvement of immunological reagents while performing routine laboratory duties. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Assistant at the Herff College of Engineering where thesis work focused on hydroxyapatite delivery of fatty acids for infection prevention and treatment, and as a Student Research Assistant conducting lab studies. Additionally, Emily held the position of Sterility Assurance Intern at MicroPort Orthopedics, performing environmental monitoring and testing, and worked as a STEM Ambassador for the West Tennessee STEM Hub, leading educational events. Earlier experience includes administrative support as a Project Coordinator Assistant at C2 Consultants, LLC. Emily holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Memphis.
