Ivy Newman

Ivy Newman, JD, SPHR, currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Meridian Cooperative since July 2021. With extensive experience in human resources, Ivy previously held several leadership roles at Emory University from April 2006 to June 2020, including Human Resources Director for the School of Medicine's Brain Health Center and Orthopaedics, and Director of Faculty Affairs for the School of Nursing. Ivy has demonstrated expertise in managing HR operations, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, overseeing talent acquisition, and enhancing diversity and inclusion initiatives. Earlier career experience includes the role of Director of Human Resources at Los Alamos National Bank, where Ivy managed all aspects of HR functions. Ivy holds a Bachelor of Science from Duke University, a Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law, and a Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Harvard Business School Online.
