Alan Reid

Alan Reid has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Alan worked at Meridian Credit Union as an Associate Vice President of Financial Reporting, as well as Director of Accounting Policy, Tax, and OneCap Financial Reporting. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Manager of Accounting Policy.

Before joining Meridian Credit Union, Alan worked at Barclays, where they served as Vice President of Treasury Finance and Assistant Vice President of Treasury Product Control. In these roles, they managed teams and oversaw month-end and balance sheet reporting within Treasury Product Control. Additionally, they played a key role in IT and infrastructure build-out for Treasury.

Alan also worked at Barclays Capital, where they held positions such as Analyst of Treasury Product Control and Foreign Exchange Product Control. Alan started their career as a Graduate Analyst of Statutory Review and later moved to Finance Change. Prior to Barclays Capital, Alan interned at the company as a Summer Intern in Product Control.

Alan began their professional journey as a Statistics Teaching Assistant at Queen's University.
