Allan M. has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Starting in 1987, they worked as an Associate Director at Bank of Scotland, where they managed and restructured a Corporate and Commercial Real Estate portfolio in European markets. Allan successfully negotiated and re-priced credits and focused on returning capital to the bank efficiently. In 2010, Allan joined TD Bank as a Director of National Accounts, where they managed and improved the risk profile of a portfolio of Corporate Financial Institution Clients and Professional Services clients. Allan facilitated credit facilities and sought growth opportunities for existing and prospective clients. In 2014, Allan briefly worked as an Assistant Vice President at HSBC before joining Meridian Credit Union in 2015. At Meridian, they initially served as a Senior Manager in Commercial Credit and later became the Director of Business Credit. In their current role, they lead a team of Commercial Credit adjudicators and manages a diverse commercial loan portfolio worth $8 billion. Allan focuses on growing operating businesses, including commercial real estate assets, and provides relationship management to higher risk borrowers across various sectors.

Allan M. completed their high school education at Lenzie Academy from 1982 to 1987. Allan then pursued a degree in Financial Services at Glasgow Caledonian University from 1998 to 2000, earning a BA (Hons). Allan M. further enhanced their knowledge in the field by obtaining a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland qualification from West College Scotland in 1991 and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland designation from Glasgow Caledonian University between 1988 and 1991.
