James began their career at Kellogg Brown & Root / Brown&Root, Inc. as a Sr. Process Engineer / Project Engineer. James then joined URS Corporation, where they were progressively promoted to Senior Engineering Project Manager. In this role, they managed a design team of over 60 members and was responsible for budgets of approximately $7 million. James joined Meridian Energy Group, Inc. in 2018 as an Engineering Manager and was later promoted to Vice President Engineering Services. James Nocker has a strong track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions and building successful client relationships.

James Nocker, P.E. obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University from 1978 to 1982. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications as a Licensed Professional Engineer from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and as a Safety Trained Supervisor from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
