Helen Peters

Helen Peters has extensive work experience in finance and taxation. Helen began their career as a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2001 and worked there until 2010. Helen then joined KPMG New Zealand, where they held the positions of Senior Manager from 2010 to 2013, and Director from 2013 to 2017. During their time at KPMG, Helen also served as a lecturer for the taxation course at Lincoln University from 2017 to 2017. After their tenure at KPMG, they worked as the Tax and Treasury Manager at Tait Communications from 2017 to 2020. Currently, Helen holds the position of Group Financial Controller at Meridian Energy, starting in 2020.

Helen Peters attended Victoria University of Wellington from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Commercial Law. In 2016, they also participated in the Leadership Programme offered by Leadership New Zealand.
