Jeff Reid

Jeff Reid has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jeff started their career as a Plant Operator at Winstone Aggregates in 1999. Jeff then moved on to Alan G Gibson Ltd as an Earthmoving Operator in 2000, where they worked until 2006. From 2006 to 2013, they worked as a Supervisor/Operator Trainer at Goodman Contractors Limited. In 2013, they joined Meridian Energy as a Generation Controller and worked there until 2018. Then, from 2019 to 2021, they worked at Nova Energy as a Generation Controller. Currently, they are employed with Meridian Energy as a Generation Controller/Trader, starting from November 2021.

Jeff Reid's education history includes several experiences in different fields of study. Jeff received training in GE LM6000 PC turbine familiarization at General Electric. Jeff Reid also obtained a National Diploma in Electricity Supply (Level 6) from Connexis, specializing in electricity supply. Additionally, they acquired a National Certificate in Health, Safety and Environment (Operations) from Infratrain, focusing on health, safety, and environment, as well as assessment skills. Lastly, Jeff Reid completed a National Diploma in Hospitality Management at Whitireia Polytechnic, specializing in hospitality management.
