Kerryn Mercer

Kerryn Mercer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kerryn started their career in 2003 as a Financial Accountant at McDonald Gordon and then worked as a Management Accountant at Metropolitan Housing Trust, where they were involved in preparing budgets, monthly management accounts, and creating a database of houses and estates. Kerryn also worked as a Management Accountant at Imperial College London, where they assisted in the preparation of financial information for effective management of the educational facility.

In 2004, they joined Uxbridge College as a Management Accountant, and later that year, they moved to Kiwi Construction Ltd as a Senior Management Accountant, handling aspects of accounting, finance, office management, and project management. In 2007, they joined MP Moran & Sons as a Senior Management Accountant and took on additional responsibilities overseeing sales ledger, credit control, purchasing, and finance departments.

From 2009 to 2013, Kerryn worked at City Care Ltd as a Senior Management Accountant and then as a Finance Manager - Major Projects. Their roles involved providing a key link between operational and financial sections, leading a team of finance professionals, and generating timely reports, forecasts, budgets, and other analysis.

In 2013, Kerryn worked as a Contract Administrator at Geotech Group, where they were responsible for preparing, reviewing, and administering the construction process. Kerryn then joined Church Property Trustees as a Finance Manager in 2019 and later became the Commercial & Finance Manager, responsible for commercial and financial functions.

Most recently, in 2022, Kerryn joined Meridian Energy as a Commercial Lead.

Kerryn Mercer obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce from Lincoln University (NZ) between 1997 and 1999. Following that, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the same university, completing it in 2000.
