Lachlan Forsyth

Lachlan Forsyth is an experienced media and communications professional currently serving as Media and Content Manager at Meridian Energy since January 2024. Previously, Lachlan held significant roles at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, including Principal Advisor for Content and Media and Principal Advisor for Engagement and Partnerships, where responsibilities included strategic communication and stakeholder engagement related to transport initiatives. Prior to this, Lachlan was Communications Director at UNICEF New Zealand, overseeing branding and media relations, and worked as a senior broadcast journalist with MediaWorks NZ for nearly a decade. Earlier career experiences include roles in insurance as a broker and senior account executive, along with customer service at Westpac. Lachlan holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Massey University.
