Robert Castek

Robert Castek has a diverse range of work experience. Robert started their career in 2010 as a Paramedic - Social Community Service at Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Wien. In 2013, they worked as a Finance Intern at Jablite and in 2014, they served as a Marketing Assistant at Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien AG. In 2016, Robert worked as a Commerce Intern at the Austrian Consulate General - Commercial Section.

From 2017 onwards, Robert's career took a turn towards the energy sector. Robert started as a Consultant at The City of Edinburgh Council, where they led a team and worked on a proposal for an Energy Services Company (ESCo). Later in 2017, they became a Master's Thesis Student at Tidal Lagoon Power.

In 2017, Robert also joined LCP Delta and held multiple roles. Robert started as an Analyst and was responsible for sourcing data, conducting research, and analyzing data. Robert then took on the role of Senior Analyst, where they also handled business development and winning work, along with their previous responsibilities. Their tenure at LCP Delta lasted until October 2022.

Currently, Robert works at Meridian Energy as a Strategic Development and Innovation Analyst, a role they started in October 2022. Further details about this role are not provided.

Robert Castek completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business, Economics and Social Sciences, with a focus on International Business Administration, from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) from 2012 to 2015. In 2014, they participated in the Erasmus Study Abroad Programme at Lancaster University, where they studied Business and Management. Robert went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Carbon Finance from The University of Edinburgh, which they completed from 2016 to 2017.
