Alejo Maggini

Alejo Maggini is currently serving as a Project Associate I and Ruckelshaus Fellow at Meridian Institute since July 2022, contributing to efforts in environmental and social issue collaboration. Prior experience includes coordinating the Racial Equity Hub Task Force for the City of Los Angeles, and working as a Program Assistant and Supervisor at Occidental College, where significant contributions were made towards racial justice and community healing initiatives. Additional roles involved political advising for Costa Rica's Permanent Mission to the United Nations and internships within the Mayor's Office of International Affairs in Los Angeles. Alejo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Diplomacy and World Affairs, Economics, and Education from Occidental College and a Diploma in Restorative Justice from Universidad Católica de Salta, along with diverse educational achievements in global politics and social sciences.
