Travis Porter

Travis Porter is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Branch Manager for the Orchard Park branch of Meridian Library District, set to open in early 2023, and previously held various roles within the district including Librarian and Branch Manager. Prior experience includes serving as Branch Manager and Associate Director at Ada Community Library Victory Branch and Librarian at the City of Boise. Travis began a career in writing and marketing, holding positions such as Account Manager and Copywriter at companies like Murie Design Group and Aspen Marketing, and operated as a self-employed copywriter. Travis holds a Master of Library & Information Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Utah.
