Shane Allchin

Shane Allchin has extensive experience in the beverage industry, holding various leadership roles over a career spanning several decades. Currently, Shane serves as the Managing Director and Sales Director at Meridian Wine Merchants since March 2016. Prior to this, Shane was the Business Development Director at Visual Fusion and held positions at Brandhouse Beverages (Pty) Ltd as Senior Innovation Commercialisation Manager and National Category Planning Manager. Additional roles include Head of Customer Marketing at Guinness Nigeria, Regional Customer Marketing Manager at Diageo, and General Sales Manager at Pernod Ricard, among others. Shane began a career in sales at Gilbeys Distillers and Vintners in 1988 after obtaining a degree in Business Management from Rand Afrikaans University, following education at Maritzburg College.
