Sarah Gardner has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sarah started their career as a Reporter at the South Padre Island Breeze Newspaper in 2005. In 2006, they worked as a Volunteer and Education Coordinator at Luthy Botanical Garden. From 2007 to 2016, they held the position of PR/Marketing Manager at Texas Discovery Gardens, and subsequently became the Director of Communications from 2017 to 2018. Sarah'smost recent role was as the Director of Community Engagement at Meridian World School, which they started in June 2020.
Sarah Gardner obtained their Bachelor of Journalism degree with a focus on Journalism and French from The University of Texas at Austin, where they attended from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed the International Baccalaureate program in 2001. Additionally, Sarah has obtained several certifications, including a Nonprofit Management Certificate from CNM Connect in January 2017, and a Nonprofit Marketing Certificate from the Center for Nonprofit Management in September 2012. Sarah also holds various graphic design specializations from Coursera Course Certificates, including Graphic Design, Ideas from the History of Graphic Design, Introduction to Imagemaking, Introduction to Typography, and Fundamentals of Graphic Design, all completed in 2016.

Meridian World School
Meridian World School is a public, K-12, tuition-free charter school. We are located in Round Rock, Texas. Open to all students who live within the boundaries of Williamson County in Central Texas. Meridian is an authorized school for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP). Our Mission Statement (below) is directly tied to our belief in the International Baccalaureate Learner Profile. Meridian School's current enrollment is almost 1700 students. Mission Statement: Meridian School will provide an invigorating educational environment that develops responsible citizens who can artfully navigate our complex world and enjoy a good life with others. Each student will engage in diverse investigations, disciplined inquiry, and integrated service-learning to cultivate intercultural awareness, creativity, and mental acuity.
