Ravi Chopra

Ravi Chopra has a diverse work experience in various HR roles. Ravi is currently working as the Group CHRO at Merino Group since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Group CHRO at Hero Motors Company from June 2021 to October 2022. Ravi also held the position of Vice President & Head - HR at Orient Electric, a CK Birla Group Company, from July 2016 to May 2021. Ravi has also worked as the Director HR at Samsung Electronics from October 2004 to July 2016. Before that, they were an Assistant Manager- HR at Jindal Stainless from July 2002 to October 2004. Ravi started their career as a Senior Executive- HR at Gillette India- Duracell Div. in June 2001 and later worked as a Senior Officer- HR at Hero MotoCorp Ltd from November 1998 to June 2001.

Ravi Chopra has a strong educational background in the field of Human Resource Management. Ravi obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) with a specialization in HR from BIM TECH from 1996 to 1999. Additionally, they pursued a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Jamia Millia University from 1996 to 1998. Prior to these higher education degrees, Ravi completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Science from Delhi University from 1993 to 1996.

In addition to their formal education, Ravi has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Ravi received the certification in Strategic Human Resources and Succession Planning from LinkedIn in December 2022. Furthermore, in December 2017, they obtained the certified facilitator qualification from DDI | Development Dimensions International. Ravi also completed the Life Orientation Personality Assessment certification offered by Nidharshana Technologies - Best Indian HR Startup in September 2017.
