Soumendu Kabiraj has extensive experience in various roles in the sales and management field. Soumendu started their career in 1987 as a Branch Manager at Genelec, where they handled industrial lighting and dealers' sales. In 1992, they joined NUCHEM LIMITED as a Territory Manager, overseeing operations in Bihar and Orissa. During this time, they were also a part of the training team for MDF and Panels and was awarded Best Manager of the Year in 1995. From 1996 to 1998, Soumendu worked as a Regional Manager at SITAPUR PLYWOODS, where they played a key role in sales strategy formulation and maintaining corporate relations. Since 1999, they have been working at Merino Industries Ltd (Merino Group) as the National Sales Head. In this position, they have headed various verticals of the business, managed national key accounts and projects, and played a crucial role in business development and specification of all products. Soumendu has also been involved in major projects such as the New Parliament, Central Vista, Jewer Airport, and Indian Railways' redevelopment of railway stations.
Soumendu Kabiraj has a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. Soumendu also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Ranchi University.
