Merion Golf Club
Nate Oxman is a dedicated educator and writer with extensive experience in both the teaching and sports journalism fields. Currently serving as a Sixth Grade Teacher at Haverford Middle School since August 2016, Nate has also contributed as a Staff Writer for Tri-State Golfer Magazine and Merion Golf Club since April 2009. Prior roles include Classroom Teacher at Lynnewood Elementary School from August 2012 to August 2016 and various editorial positions at Philadelphia Golfer, Montgomery Media, and The Spirit Community Newspapers. Nate is pursuing a Master of Education in Teaching Secondary English at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, building on a background that includes a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Penn State University and elementary education certification from Cabrini University.

Merion Golf Club is a private golf club located in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. The Club has two courses: the East Course and the West Course. The East Course has been consistently rated by Golf Digest as among America's greatest golf courses. Merion has hosted 18 USGA Championships, more than any other club, including five U.S. Opens. Most recently, Merion hosted the 2013 U.S. Open Championship.
