Ozan Akı

Ozan Akı has a range of experience in various roles within the logistics and operations field. Ozan started their career as a Logistics Intern at Inanc Group in 2002, where they gained knowledge about logistics companies and international shipments. In 2006, they worked as a Logistics Specialist at Agacli Petrol ve Tic. Ltd. Sti., where they handled custom declaration forms, followed up on transportation operations, and communicated with brokers. From 2007 to 2008, they served as an Assistant Manager at Ağaçlı Petrol ve Tic. Ltd. Sti., coordinating international vehicle transportation operations and solving operational issues. Ozan then worked as an Assistant Operations Manager at Borusan Lojistik from 2008 to 2010. In this role, they directed an operation team and coordinated outbound shipments from distribution centers and warehouses of different companies. From 2012 to 2018, Ozan worked at NEXT International, Inc as a Logistics Manager, managing warehouse operations, operating IT systems, maintaining inventory records, and communicating with logistics companies and customers. Their most recent experience is with Merit Brass Company, where they held multiple roles such as Warehouse Operations Specialist, Operations and Process Analyst, and currently as a Software Developer since 2021.

Ozan Akı has a Bachelor's degree in the School of Logistics, specializing in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management, which they obtained from Istanbul University between 1999 and 2004. In 2007, they also received a Certificate of Senior Executive of Transportation from the Ministry of Transportation of the Turkish Republic. In 2016 and 2017, Ozan attended Dallas College, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in CIT - Network Administrator and Support. Additionally, in May 2017, they earned a certification in Computer Information Technology - Network Associate from Richland College. In 2017 and 2018, Ozan received training in Visual Studio Professional Development at Dallas College.
