Yvette Milner has extensive experience in safety, disability management, and labor relations. Currently serving as a Board Member for both the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba and the Manitoba Labour Board since February 2016 and 1996 respectively, Yvette also holds the position of President at the Merit Contractors Association of Manitoba, which advocates for open shop contractors. Since 2005, Yvette has worked as a Safety and Disability Management Consultant with On-Site Safety And Health Management Solutions, providing expertise to various sectors. Previous roles include Managing Director at Growing Resources Our Way from April 2014 to January 2016 and Director of Safety & Disability Management at Deloitte from 1999 to 2005. Yvette's educational background includes a Bachelor of Social Work from Dalhousie University, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of Winnipeg, and a Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Manitoba.

Merit is the only organization of its kind in Manitoba, supporting and representing the unique interests of open shop contractors.
