Derek Hunt is currently working as the Academic Chief Resident of Emergency Medicine at MERIT HEALTH WESLEY, where Derek previously served as an Emergency Medicine Resident. Prior to that, Derek was a Medical Student at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Derek also gained experience as a Junior Project Manager at ScribeAmerica, assisting in implementing Emergency Department Scribe Programs. Derek worked as an Emergency Department Scribe at Florida Hospital Orlando and served as an Organic Chemistry I & II Tutor at UCF- Student Acadmic Resource Center. Derek holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from William Carey University-College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Clinical Allied Health from the University of Central Florida.
