Chip Morrison

Chip Morrison is a seasoned professional in land acquisition, currently serving as the Vice President of Land Acquisition at Meritage Homes since May 2023. Prior to this role, Chip held positions at Forestar Group Inc. from November 2020 to May 2023, including Director and Land Acquisition Manager for the Carolinas region. Chip’s experience also includes working at D.R. Horton from July 2018 to November 2020, where roles included Land Acquisitioner and Land Acquisition Project Manager for different areas in Atlanta. Chip earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management from The Citadel, completing the degree from 2008 to 2012, and attended Riverside Preparatory Academy from 2003 to 2008.
