Hilla Sferruzza

Hilla Sferruzza is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Meritage Homes. Hilla has held this position since January 2009. Prior to this, they were the Chief Accounting Officer, Senior VP, and Corporate Controller at Meritage Homes from August 2006 to December 2008. Before that, they were the Director of External Reporting at Seldin Real Estate from January 2005 to December 2006.

Sferruzza began their career at Starwood Hotels and Resorts in January 2001 as a Senior Manager of SEC Reporting and Consolidations. Hilla left in December 2005 to join KPMG as a Senior Auditor, where they worked until December 2001.

Hilla Sferruzza has a BS in Business administration/Accounting from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management. Hilla also has an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Washington State University.

Hilla Sferruzza works with Clint Szubinski - EVP, COO, Malissia Clinton - EVP, General Counsel & Secretary, and Javier Feliciano - Executive Vice President & Chief People Officer. Hilla Sferruzza reports to Phillippe Lord, CEO.
