Julia Teague has a diverse and extensive work experience in marketing and public relations. Julia started their career as an Assistant Account Executive at Edelman Public Relations in 2001. Julia then worked as a Senior Account Executive at Formula Public Relations from 2002 to 2004, and as a Senior Account Executive at Rogers & Associates/American Honda Motor Co. from 2003 to 2005.

From 2005 to 2012, Julia served as Vice President & Creative Director, Consumer Division at Cohn & Wolfe, where they managed various marketing campaigns for clients such as Hampton Hotels and Hilton Hotels Corporation. During this time, they were recognized for their contributions to the Hampton Hotels Save-a-Landmark campaign and the Digital TV (DTV) education campaign.

In 2012, Julia joined Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa as the Director of Marketing. In this role, they developed and executed marketing strategies, managed agency partnerships, and led the rebranding strategy for the entire resort. Julia also cultivated a philanthropic partnership with Make-A-Wish® Central & South Texas and launched the "Barton Creek LIVE Summer Music Series." Julia received the Omni Hotels Marketing Director of the Year award in 2014.

Following their time at Omni Barton Creek, they worked as a Field Marketing professional at Marriott International from 2018 to 2018, and they are currently working as a Regional Marketing Director at Meritage Homes, starting in November 2018.

Julia Teague earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Public Relations from The University of Texas at Austin from 1997 to 2000. Julia also obtained a certification in "Building Accountability into Your Culture" from LinkedIn in the year 2023.
